Designed as a batch premix that's loaded with essence of a festive period, which makes it ideal for a festive gathering. Any leftover syrup you can use for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.

Yields 10 servings
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Syrup: Combine all the components in a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the heat allowing it to cool entirely. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to a month.
For the Batch Mix: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it best through a fine cloth, so it's fully clarified.
To serve: Measure 85ml of the premix to a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir gently for one minute to cool it down. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and complete it using a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
